Can i ask to get my braces taken off before grad?

You're so young and it is TOTALLY acceptable to have braces on. I suggest to leave them on as long as your orthodontist wants you to have them on. I'm 21 and I JUST got braces, think how I feel? I will be graduating from university soon and now THAT sucks lol because I will still have them on. So relax....you kids are so self-conscious at such young ages.
