Have anyone ever heard of the movie Cindy.?

The movie was the african American version of the Cinderella Fairy Tale. The movie came out in the Mid to late 70's starting in 75. or really early 80's. I was at a pajama party as a child when I saw it at a friends house and have not seen it since I don't even know what stars were playing in the movie. Someone please help.
