Laptop optical drives?

Will all optical drives fit any laptops, if you change the face plate. i have ordered a new optical drive because mine has stopped working i have the ...GMA-4082N so will the GMA-4080N fit it , i know i will have to change the bezel/bracket and the faceplate. Will it work or not?
