What is "Asia" to you?

I think most American thinks of China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam when they hear "Asia". In fact Asia consist of East Asia (those above) North Asia (Siberia and Mongolia) Central Asia (The -stans) South Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanca) and The Middle East. What is Asia to you, the geographic continent or the cultural sinosphered East Asia?
